**Argentine Air Force deploys Tucano aircraft for interception**

Two days after the Argentine government declared a one-year security emergency, the Argentine Air Force announced on 21 January that it will permanently deploy some of its Embraer EMB-312 Tucano aircraft to take part for the first time in border patrol missions, joining the FMA IA-58A Pucará.
